Biography
MEDIA RECOGNITION for Kirk Martin: While stationed over seas in Baumholder Germany Kirk Played in the 7th corps competition in 1988 and won 2nd place in the USAREUR Star search competition US Army Europe. Kirk also played various other local events while stationed in Baumholder.
Kirk has sung and played at various local shows in and around Manhattan KS where he currently resides, including fundraisers at the Junction City Harley Davidson for MDS, the Beattie Milo festival, Covenant Baptist church of Topeka, Black Jack Hills, Good Sam center in Wamego, and Junction city, and playing lead guitar for Alton Miller in the 2007 Sundown Salute opening up for Nashville recording artist Chely Wright. Among other venue’s
Kirk has been interviewed by media while stationed in Germany, as well as local radio & television stations in Manhattan, KS. Kirk has had local air play of his music on both radio and TV.
