Biography
To inspire awe and admiration, is the meaning of this Toronto based duo known as august' . Described as having a vibe on stage that is smooth and intoxicating, singer/songwriter Andi D and bassist/writer Jen Benton truly are an august sight!
In the 5 years that august has been working together they have performed extensively across southern Ontario . August has also performed their music at such festivals as NXNE, CMW , Pride Toronto , Burlington Sound of Music, Indie Music Week - Nashville Tennessee, Toys for Tots Benefit Concert - Buffalo New York, as well as being a featured artist on SonicBids.com . In 2005, Ben was honored with an award from Garageband.com - 13th best written bass line for their song Misbelieving'.
