Biography
The album 'Will You Cry When I Die?' was written and composed by former 'I Don't Care' founder Peter Knapp and his son Damian. 'I Don't Care' was signed with the now legendary art rock label Buddha Records in 1976 and performed with such national acts as Bruce Springsteen (Bruce opened the show), Frank Zappa, Paul Butterfield, and the James Gang, among many others. Peter's late 60's and early 70's rock influences and Damian's alternative/blues vibe combine to give us a modern adult/rock experience. Filled with fluid slide guitar, horns, psychedelic piano/organ, female vocal harmonies, and Peter's haunting lyrics, the album 'Will You Cry When I Die?' reunites father and son before Peter's untimely death in 2003, just weeks before they were to begin recording the music they wrote together.

Damian went into production immediately following his father's death, and after over two years of recording at Vistamix studio, he released his new CD in January of 2006, thru CDbaby. Produced and arranged by Damian, he hired the best musicians he has worked with over the last ten years, having thirteen different musicians lay down tracks over the duration of the project. With influences ranging from Tom Waits, John Lennon, Beck, Lucinda Williams, John Hiatt, Jeff Buckley, Chet Baker, and Bruce Springsteen, father and son reunited for this songwriting collaboration.
