The Music and Gibson Guitars of Mike Bloomfield

It is Eric Clapton, and his mid-1960s work in John Mayall’s Blues Breakers, who is often credited with popularizing the single-cutaway sunburst Les Paul Standard. But credit must also go to Mike Bloomfield, the mercurial blues player from Chicago who passed away 30 years ago.
