News: Musicians Union AFM Lobbies for Airline Carry-On Policy

AFM has launched an advocacy campaign directed toward Senator Rockefeller, Chairman of the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee, in support of the Senate FAA reauthorization bill (S. 223), which includes language that allows any musical instrument to be carried on board an airplane as long as it can be stored safely in an overhead bin or under the seat. You can be a part of this campaign by following this link. You will be able to send an email to Senator Rockefeller expressing your support of a uniform national policy for musical instruments as carry-on luggage, and urging him to insist on the Senate language in conference committee.
