News: Netflix's Massive Streaming Pushes Paid Content Past Online Piracy for First Time Ever

For the first time in the history of the internet, traffic in paid content has passed piracy according to the Spring Traffic Report from Sandvine. Netflix provided the tipping point as the movie service mades up 22.2% of all U.S. broadband traffic compared to BitTorrent’s 21.6%. At peak times, Netflix can consume 30%.of all traffic.
