Torie Tyson of Los Angeles has taken rock and roll and put the fun back into it. Not pop fun – there’s some serious attitude here – but crazed, frenzied, showbiz fun. These three tracks, especially the party anthem “Let’s Go (Saturday Night)” are shake and scream rock and roll. She admits to having been swept off her feet by Elvis, finding herself attracted to his larger than life image. She pounds that same image and star energy into these recordings.

Every song on this demo features great guitar work and a kick-over-the-barstool rock vocal. On “Let’s Go,” Tyson sounds like a raspier Blondie, and on “You Push Me Down,” she sounds a little like Joan Jett. She must give a great live show.
