News: Blooming-Tunes Song Contest 2010
Posted on Monday, June 07, 2010 @ 14:29:20 UTC
Topic: Opportunities

Blooming-Tunes is a song contest designed for Midwestern singer-songwriters. Original compositions will be reviewed by a panel of judges who all have a passion for music while coming from different backgrounds. The panel will include professional writers based in Nashville TN, musicians, songwriters, and non-musicians. At least one third of the judges are not involved with music as a musician or composer of music - which is meant to help balance the judging for this contest. The top 5 winners will perform at the beautiful Buskirk Chumley Theater in Downtown Bloomington, Indiana on October 17th, 2010. Artists will be compensated for their live performance and may be asked for a live radio interview as promotion for the upcoming concert. The top 15 submissions will be included on the 2nd Annual Blooming-Tunes Compilation CD and each selected winner will receive five copies for their personal use. Submit by July 15. Website
