News: Imelda May & Jeff Beck Auction Off Guitar for Make A Wish Foundation
Posted on Monday, September 20, 2010 @ 13:20:49 UTC
Topic: Major Artists

This Epiphone J200 Acoustic and has been used at Imelda May gigs and recordings for her new album Mayhem, which has entered the Irish Album Charts at #1. The guitar has also been used on the Live From Abbey Road Channel 4 TV special Imelda recorded last year. The guitar was used on both nights for the gigs she performed backing Jeff Beck at The Iridium in New York in June of this year. Both gigs were as a tribute to the late guitar inventor, Les Paul. After the shows the guitar was signed by many of the artists that either performed or were in the audience on either night: Jeff Beck, Brian Setzer, Meatloaf, Rusty Paul (Les Paul's son), Rhonda Smith, Narada Michael Walden, Jason Rebello (all from Jeff Beck's band), Riley Byrd (guitarist for Joan Jett), Imelda May and Darrel Higham (guitarist for Imelda May).
