This year Clive Davis's link to the Grammys grew a little closer with the dedication of the Clive Davis Theater at the Grammy Museum, a 200-seat space in downtown Los Angeles near the Staples Center. In front of a crowd of industry friends, curious fans and artists like Toni Braxton, Mr. Davis reminisced about his career, drawing oohs and ahhs for his stories about taking Lou Reed to the Bottom Line in 1975 to see Bruce Springsteen and the time he told an aspiring songwriter, "If you were Irving Berlin, we would have known it by now."
