Comcast Denies Man Internet For a Year For Breaking Data Cap

Comcast has a 250 GB monthly bandwidth cap. If you go over it, they reserve the right to fire you as a customer. But this guy Andre tried to upload a huuuuuuge amount of his music collection to Amazon's new "Storage Cloud" service that lets you upload an unlimited amount of M4As and AAC files. All he wanted to be able to jam to his tunes on the road. Combined with the terabyte of storage in his basement he kept backed up on Carbonite, and the scales were tipped. He knew about the 250 GB cap, but thought it was just for downloads. Turns out, it's not. It's uploads and downloads combined. Whoops. Complete Article
