Cary Sherman Takes Over at RIAA; Bainwol Leaves to Lobby for Automakers

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the music industry's biggest lobbying group, has announced new leadership. Cary Sherman, the organization's president since 2001, has been named its chairman and chief executive, effective September 1. He succeeds Mitch Bainwol, who has resigned to become the chief executive of the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers. Complete Article
