The Independent Singer-Songwriter Association (ISSA) Song Contest is an international competition supporting the disciplines of songwriting, musicianship and performance. The main objective is to give independent singer-songwriters the opportunities to have their music heard and help them to establish a larger fan base. Contest grand prize winner receives $2,000 in cash to help further their pursuits in music. Additionally, Sonicbids is providing a free yearly Supersonic membership to all category winners. Songs can be submitted in 8 separate categories: Pop, Country, Folk, Rock, Hip-Hop/Rap, Jazz, Adult Contemporary and A Capella. Submission deadline: October 30. Website
